GoodCorporationGMJ Associates are GoodCorporation accredited consultants
GMJ Associates can advise you on achieving GoodCorporation accreditation or can carry out assessments of organisations against the GoodCorporation standard. GoodCorporation accreditation is achieved by organisations that demonstrate that their practices towards employees, customers, suppliers, shareholders, the environment and the community meet the standard in an independent assessment. A number of companies use the Standard and independent verification as part of a risk management or assurance process or as part of on-going business improvement. The GoodCorporation standardThe GoodCorporation Standard was created to help organisations to manage, measure and develop their management practices in light of increasing scrutiny of corporate responsibility. Based on a set of core principles devised by the Institute of Business Ethics, the Standard sets out a framework of policies and good practices against which an organisation can measure how effectively it is meeting its goals. To achieve full accreditation, organisations are annually assessed by an independent verifier and must meet minimum criteria regarding the existence and effectiveness of management practices. The requirements are practical and designed to ensure that corporate responsibility is an integral part of everyday management. The verification report, based on site visits and interviews with all stakeholder groups, also seeks to identify areas for development. Ratings are provided to show how the organisation is performing over time and against the GoodCorporation benchmark. For small businesses, those with fewer than 50 employees, GoodCorporation has a cost-effective, simplified assessment.
