Ethical Awareness

Help to increase awareness amongst your employees of the importance of ethical behaviour.

Ethical Awareness Training does just what it says – makes people more aware, more able to question and reason whether something is right and more sensitive to the possible consequences. It also makes it more likely that issues will be brought to management attention at an earlier stage making it easier for you to take corrective action before a problem gets out of hand.

People often believe that our moral code is in place by the time we leave childhood and that little can be done to change a person’s outlook after that. While the early years are important it is always possible to increase someone’s sensitivity to issues that they might face in the workplace.

Malpractice rarely happens because one bad person goes out of their way to misbehave. More often it grows out of an acceptance of ‘how things are done around here’ and the fact that ‘everyone is doing it’ which over time eats away at individual beliefs. Training can address this.

Courses are tailored to include case studies likely to be relevant to the particular company. Funding such courses is a powerful signal from senior management of the importance they place on ethical behaviour.
