Ethics and FootballI've little interest in football but even I couldn't avoid the analysis and comment about the French win due to a handball. From what I've heard the French generally are also disgusted by the manner of their win and really embarrassed. Listening to the posturing and the demands for a replay from the Irish side I can't help wondering if we Irish would be responding as generously and ethically as the French are if the shoe was on the other foot (or the ball on the other hand!).
